Very practical book。 It has really change my approach towards learning。 Chapters about focus, study, memory, speed reading and thinking were the best。 By the way, do you remember when was the last time you learn how to learn? Do you think it was enough for lifetime? One excellent motto from the book is following: Readers are leaders。 Or other way around 😎 My PERSONAL recommendation is following: if you read around 50 books a year, this book should be one of them👍 and not because it is not worth Very practical book。 It has really change my approach towards learning。 Chapters about focus, study, memory, speed reading and thinking were the best。 By the way, do you remember when was the last time you learn how to learn? This book is not like normal inspired books。 We all know how to make ourselves better, but we never start, things always easy when just thinking。 Many theories and skills Jim collected from other masters, the way he learned from others, the way he shared his tips and stories, made a fresh feeling when finished this book。 Previous experience(similar topic books) I felt inspired, full of passion, but lasted just few days。 For “Limitless”, it’s different, very calm and peaceful, but I knew I’ll ope This book is not like normal inspired books。 We all know how to make ourselves better, but we never start, things always easy when just thinking。 Many theories and skills Jim collected from other masters, the way he learned from others, the way he shared his tips and stories, made a fresh feeling when finished this book。 Previous experience(similar topic books) I felt inspired, full of passion, but lasted just few days。 For “Limitless”, it’s different, very calm and peaceful, but I knew I’ll open it again, fulfill what I learned, and the most important thing, share with others。 Thanks Jim and all of the team, I ❤️ this reading journey。 。。。more

Brilliant book if you want a brain and life upgrade。 I listened to the audiobook and started doing the exercises。 As an avid reader, the speed reading chapter was my favourite。 I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to let go of their limitations。

There were so many useful tips and hints and ways to perceive the world that I had to keep stopping and try the methodologies out and then come back to the book。 I think I will need to come back to this book and reread。 So inspirational and so much practical assistance。 Thank you

Might give this another try or not。 I didn't really learn anything new except Baroque music。 A lot of thr concepts discussed I heard in podcasts or books, others from experience。 Basically everything he said is borrowed from other authors and professionals。 A lot of chapters begin with *insert author and discovery* and then Kwik will just elaborate from there。 Ugh。 Plus a lot of personal stories from Hollywood friends。 Save time by just searching tips on memorizing and focusing。 👍👍👍 Might give this another try or not。 I didn't really learn anything new except Baroque music。 A lot of thr concepts discussed I heard in podcasts or books, others from experience。 Basically everything he said is borrowed from other authors and professionals。 A lot of chapters begin with *insert author and discovery* and then Kwik will just elaborate from there。 Ugh。 Plus a lot of personal stories from Hollywood friends。 Save time by just searching tips on memorizing and focusing。 👍👍👍 。。。more

Some good tips in here by Jim but generally a pretty straight forward read with no revolutionary or life changing tips given。 Some content felt it was placed within just to stretch it out enough so it was long enough that it could actually be sold as a book。At the end of the day, it is a normal entry level book to self improvement。

The book is quite interesting, however should be two times shorter: there is too much talking and too many repetitions。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 A wholistic approach to taking care of your mental health。 Mainly take brain supplements, employ healthy daily routines, get adequate sleep, exercise, motivation, method and mindset model for sustainability。 As for speed reading: practice reading with your finger pointing to each word without necessarily hearing the words in your head as you go along。 Practice daily to get faster and faster over time。 I especially liked the study techniques to improve memory - really worked for me!

Limitless talks about popular self development topics and emphasises on learning。 There are not so many originals ideas, but Jim himself says that repetition is very important part of learning。 His hero's journey story is also very inspiring as he went from poor learner to good learner。This book reminded me the importance of good sleep, healthy lifestyle and good community。 Writing a summary of what you just learned is also good way to learn better。 :) Limitless talks about popular self development topics and emphasises on learning。 There are not so many originals ideas, but Jim himself says that repetition is very important part of learning。 His hero's journey story is also very inspiring as he went from poor learner to good learner。This book reminded me the importance of good sleep, healthy lifestyle and good community。 Writing a summary of what you just learned is also good way to learn better。 :) 。。。more

What if speed reading could be your superpower? How about harnessing your memory? If you feel like you have a broken brain like this author was told he had, wouldn't you want to learn how he was able to change that? No one teaches us HOW to learn, just to do it。 Jim Kwik give you the tools you need to turn it all around。 This book should be required for all teachers to then be able to help their students learn。 What if speed reading could be your superpower? Good, but I had already covered all the ground through other sources (e。g。, I've already read Mindset, The Power of Habit, lots of his other resources, and have been a voracious reader since about age 14)。 Still, I would imagine this being very useful to people new to this area。Gotta say, every time he said "brain smoothie," I had a mental image of George Romero-type zombie hipsters stumbling around a Jamba Juice, hoping for a menu change。 Good, but I had already covered all the ground through other sources (e。g。, I've already read Mindset, The Power of Habit, lots of his other resources, and have been a voracious reader since about age 14)。 Still, I would imagine this being very useful to people new to this area。Gotta say, every time he said "brain smoothie," I had a mental image of George Romero-type zombie hipsters stumbling around a Jamba Juice, hoping for a menu change。 。。。more

The concepts work and ti's well thought out。 I like how Kwik moves from one thought to the next。 His thoughts make sense。 Unfortunately, he relies heavily on visualization which isn't something that applies to me。 Overall, the book was great。 I was able to apply some of his methods immediately。 The concepts work and ti's well thought out。 I like how Kwik moves from one thought to the next。 His thoughts make sense。 Unfortunately, he relies heavily on visualization which isn't something that applies to me。 Overall, the book was great。 I was able to apply some of his methods immediately。 。。。more

I read for the teaching on being a better learner。 I like the book for those aspects。 The fear of God(Jesus) is the beginning of Wisdom and Knowledge。 The Bible is truth and meditating on it and seeking Jesus is far superior to any meditation or other psychological items mentioned in the book。

A lot of shallow acronyms。 Some people are inherently smart or, on the flip side, very studious。 If you can’t figure out your meaning and purpose in life, this book will give you a list of foods and questions a local Whole Foods can tell you。
